My name is Flora Marcella Ruslim,

Flora was born in Jakarta March 11, 1987, As a child her love for Disney and anime inspire her to draw. Pencils, scissor, origami paper and anything to do with arts&crafts became her interest since then.

Flora develop her drawing skills at Villa Merah drawing course. 2005, 

She studied at Binus University majoring Design & Visual Communication.

During semester holidays she take a chance of learning from two 

Bali based painters, Mr. Huda and Mrs. Aryk.    

June 2007  Flora joined Narrada Communication as an intern, 

She started as a junior illustrator and since then took illustration projects as freelancer. 

October 2008-Januari 2009 she had another internship experience at Leo Burnett Advertising Agency Jakarta. 

In October 2009, she achieved Sarjana Seni (Bachelor of Art) degree with High Merit honors.

Post graduation Flora worked as freelancer for Voleti Media until she joined Young & Rubicam Advertising Agency Jakarta (Y&R) on February 2010.

With Y&R creative team, she won the first Cannes Gold Lion

International Award to Indonesia and national award Bronze 

Citra Pariwara. Her artwork were also featured at Lurzer’s International Archive.

She worked at Y&R until August 2011. 

Currently she is doing commisioned works for various clients as an independent illustrator and designer.
